Our mission:
Development of a valid method to detect different types of microplastics in liquid foods.
The international research project "microplastic@food" aims to determine the type of microplastic particles and their source of origin in selected beverages and foods using a new AI-based algorithm. Based on an analytical validation, possible microplastic sources such as filling, packaging or environment are identified.
